In the unexpected event of serious illness, disability or death, group risk products (employer-sponsored life assurance, income protection and critical illness benefits) provide employees with the financial protection to maintain their household's financial position. The extra embedded services within group risk products help support increased engagement, productivity, health and wellbeing.
Group risk has evolved within and alongside legislation and taxation regimes which often make things more complicated than they need to be for employers. Our Budget submission concentrates on key changes which we believe are achievable, will cost little or nothing and will remove some layers of complexity, making it simpler for employers to offer these benefits to their people.
