Health Insurance Daily - Employers ‘should make better use of group risk mental health support’

Staff may be affected by their dependants’ mental ill-health.

Employers should make better use of the mental health support that comes along with group risk products such employer-sponsored life assurance, income protection and critical illness, Group Risk Development (GRiD) has said.

The trade body suggested an employee’s dependant could be suffering from mental ill-health, which is likely to affect the employee too.
