MPs have recognised the role that group income protection (GIP) can play in helping employers retain people with health conditions and promote wellbeing.

A parliamentary debate has been held on the Improving Lives green paper, which explores the role employers and insurers play in tackling long-term health conditions and managing sickness absence.
