Munich Re exec to lead reinsurer's digital group risk business.

Lee Lovett, chairman of industry body GRiD, is to succeed John Ritchie as CEO of Ellipse, the digital group risk insurer and subsidiary of the Munich Re (Group).

Lovett (pictured), who has been with Munich Re for eight years, will be leaving his position as head of business development at the reinsurer to join Ellipse.
